This is a huge question for both businesses and individuals alike. It’s so important to stay constantly engaged in conversation, but at the same time it’s never a good idea to flood your followers timelines with irrelevant tweets.

A recent extremely scientific poll that I conducted revealed that people are way more likely to unfollow you because your tweets are irrelevant, offensive; or if they simply disagree with your opinions, so obviously content is king.

If you tweet 100 times per day, as long as all of your tweets are great quality then nobody is going to click unfollow. The issue is that most people and businesses aren’t witty enough to keep that going every day.
